Last updated: May 12, 2025

These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the services offered by Happy Road to French, a sole proprietorship registered in France, to its clients.

1. Legal Information

Email: contact.me@happyroadfr.com

For further information, please consult our Legal Notice.

2. Services Offered

Happy Road to French provides specific French lessons for individuals and online. Lessons are to be booked individually.

The specific terms (duration, content, frequency) are agreed with the client and confirmed via email or quote.

3. Pricing

The rates applied by Happy Road to French are flat and predefined.
A single, fixed rate is offered to all learners, regardless of their level or situation.
This rate is communicated during initial contact and remains valid unless otherwise stated or in the case of special promotions.

4. Orders and Payment

An order is considered firm once it has been confirmed in writing (by email, message, or signed agreement) and the pricing conditions are accepted.

Payments can be made by:

  • Bank transfer

  • Other methods specified at the time of booking

Payment is due before the course.

5. Right of Withdrawal

According to Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services that are fully performed before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, with the client’s prior agreement.

If the client requests a service to begin within the 14-day period, they expressly waive their right of withdrawal.

6. Cancellation / Rescheduling

The full amount of the course is due upon confirmation and payment.
No refunds will be issued in case of cancellation or absence by the learner, regardless of the reason.

In the event that Happy Road to French is unable to deliver a session on the scheduled date, a new date will be proposed.
If no alternative date can be arranged, the session will be fully refunded.

7. Liability

Happy Road to French commits to providing its services with diligence and professionalism. However, Happy Road to French cannot be held liable for:

  • The client’s poor internet connection (for online lessons)

  • The client’s material problems

  • Client’s absence or lateness

  • Improper use of provided resources

8. Personal Data

Clients’ personal data is collected solely for administrative and educational purposes.
Data will never be shared with third parties without consent.
In accordance with the GDPR, clients have the right to access, correct, delete, and object to the processing of their data by contacting contact.me@happyroadfr.com.

9. Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, both parties will seek an amicable solution.
If no agreement is reached, the client may contact a consumer mediator free of charge, or take the matter before a competent court.
